The Wonderful Web #118

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

It’s that time of year again when I’m packing up every clean and in decent shape piece of laundry; when I’m charging up cameras, video cams, ipods and game boys; when I will surely forget something of the utmost importance (only to be bought later at another Target!). That’s right — it’s vacation time!

While I’m away, here are some great websites for you to explore!

Isn’t it great when you find a website that brings a little convenience and happiness to your world? In the ever mounting haystack that is now the web, it’s great to sometimes find the needle. Here are 5 sites that have helped bring a little JOY to my world. Check them out.

1. For fun and funky office supplies check out See Jane Work. Their cool notebooks, folders, pens, and more will have you wanting to organize your home office or workspace today!

2. A great e-card is hard to find, but Jacquie Lawson makes it so easy. A once a year $10 fee will get you access to send as many e-cards as you like. And you can preview them for free before subscribing. Check out the “One Minute Cake” in the birthday section. A personal favorite.

3. This one is a family favorite. My kids love designing grandmas, aunts, and cousins and sending them along via the free e-card feature on Designer Gals. They also sell cool stationery, stickers, and WAY CUTE aprons featuring a gal designed by you.

4. I’m forever indebted to the next site. I’ll even go as far to say it has saved me hundreds in expensive therapy bills. My Thought Coach has a library of meditations, affirmations, and even audio fitness workouts. The files are mp3, so you can download them to your iPod. The fee is $6.95/month, but you can unsubscribe at anytime and keep your current downloads. It is money well spent.

5. Every girl needs her own PayPal account. It’s so simple and a great way to pay for stuff via the internet. I’ve been using it to collect and send money, and I’ve had no issues. Completely safe and easy!

Just so we’re all clear, I have no affiliations with the above service providers. They’re just part of my everyday life!! Hope that you can benefit from them too.
