August was a month full of vacations and this tip from Jen in West Chester, OH is a great one when planning all of those future trips.

I was talking with my friend my husband and I were going to visit in Australia and she suggested to bring a notebook I could scribble thoughts in every day about the trip.  I wrote about being nervous leaving my kids and taking the LONG flight over (which my husband slept though but not I) to reconnecting with my wonderful husband and all of the fantastic sights.

This summer my family is heading to Chicago and we will be bringing a new notebook for all of us to write our memories in.  In the future I look forward to reading though all of our travel notebooks for the things I have forgotten.
